RFID Transponder Sales Manager
for the Identification Technologies (IDT) Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, part of HID Global, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market growth in the NAM region with a focus on growing the passive RFID business through the equipment consumable market and other industrial verticals. We are looking for a sales expert with in‑depth knowledge in the RFID industry and a strong focus in the equipment consumable market. Must have in‑depth experience of sales both direct to OEMs and indirect through system integrators, distributors and reseller partners. In this role, you will work closely with ISC Sales Leadership and the Sales Support Teams.

Job Responsibilities
Acquire new customers and develop the existing customer base in the NAM region for the equipment consumable market and other industrial verticals.
Recognize and understand customer requirements during the pre‑sales process and educate customers on HID product offerings that solve their business challenges.
Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting and initial contact to consulting on product offerings that meet the customer’s needs and to commitment of design‑in solutions. Collaborate with product management and engineering specialists as required.
Work with sales and marketing management to plan and implement marketing and sales campaigns for your defined customer base to drive brand recognition and grow the business.
Attend and participate in tradeshows, exhibitions, and partner events.
Hunt for new customers, grow revenue, and nurture relationships with existing customers.
Complete forecasts and revenue reporting by regularly scheduled deadlines.
Build a project pipeline to secure the ISC long‑term business growth.
Act as an industry expert on future market trends and coordinate with product management on potential new products to meet these trends.
Experience and Background
Ideally, you have technical training or previous education, but in any case, you have a high affinity for technical products.
An understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on the RFID tags and labels would be helpful but is not necessary.
You have several years of sales experience and are confident speaking to all levels of customers (Engineering, Procurement, and C‑Suite).
Passionate about sales topics and about selling components.
Cold calling and remote selling are no strangers to you and you deal confidently with resistance.
Strong experience in hunting, cold‑calling, and closing new customers, including social media outreach.
Effective and timely follow‑up to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
Develop presentations and write content as an industry subject matter expert.
Present information to boards of directors, technical managers, and/or public groups.
Interact in a professional manner with the Sales team, Business Development Team, Product Marketing, and other departments within HID.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The base salary in the United States is $98,000 to $106,000. The OTE is up to $180,000.
