The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Global Sales Manager to join our Hyatt Sales Force – Global Enterprise team. The Global Enterprise team develops long-term, strategic partnerships with corporate travel customers and the meetings and events teams for a designated set of Global Accounts, focusing on the Financial/Banking market and Government market. The Global Sales Manager will work with two Global Directors to set the account management strategy for each account and to implement and oversee the tactics and initiatives that will increase Hyatt performance across all regions. You will collaborate closely with the broader Hyatt Sales Force team and contribute to Hyatt being a leading hospitality company. The Role
Responsibilities include working with the Global Directors to implement and oversee Hyatt’s sales strategy, strategic objectives, and tactics/initiatives for Global Enterprise Accounts. This position develops and nurtures long-term strategic global accounts, primarily HQ’d in the US, focused on the Financial/Banking and Government markets. The role includes new business development and brand awareness through proactive sales missions, tradeshows/events, and hotel familiarization trips. This is a remote position and reports to two Global Sales Directors – Global Enterprise Team.
Responsibilities include : Support and add value to creation and implementation of strategic action plans for a portfolio of accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals Manage complex, high-volume workloads while supporting multiple leaders with competing and time-sensitive needs Effectively communicate and bring Hyatt’s story to life Champion new and existing hotels and other company initiatives and priorities Engage all areas of the organization to find collaboration opportunities, experiment, and secure the sale Participate in sales calls and business travel as needed (customer appointments, quarterly business reviews, tradeshow/industry events, Fam Trips, internal meetings) Support all aspects of the annual corporate travel RFP process Maintain a strong customer service mindset Engage with hotel sales teams, operators, and owners to build rapport and support shared sales goals Stay current on market conditions, forecasts, and trends and translate to action to drive sales Maintain productivity in a fast-paced, autonomous environment Exhibit solid written and verbal communication and stay nimble and creative Influence and engage diverse audiences in various settings Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with timely, high-quality results Demonstrate follow-through, organization, and leadership presence Demonstrate commitment to Hyatt core values
Qualifications
Experience Required : At least 3+ years of industry experience with a proven track record Experience in Corporate Business Travel/Hospitality Strong understanding of Group/MICE Segment Proficient in full MS Office Suite Strong knowledge of Envision or equivalent CRM
Experience Preferred : Bachelor’s degree preferred Comprehensive knowledge of hotels and sales practices Experience with Master Sales Agreements/MSAs for meeting/event customers Working understanding of Finance/Banking and/or Government segments and customers preferred Experience with Cognos, Thoughtspot, Agency360, Reserve, SynXis, RMT, Oracle
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. This position is eligible for our global sales incentive plan. The final pay rate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications, as well as location. Pay meets local requirements, including local minimum wage.
