Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
HR Business Partner
to provide both
strategic and operational HR support
to business leaders across the organisation. This is a highly collaborative role that empowers functional leadership teams to create a
culture of high performance , continuous growth, and employee engagement.
You will partner closely with the Senior HRBP and cross‑functional teams to define people strategies, lead on key HR initiatives, and ensure HR practices are aligned with both legal compliance and business goals.
Key Requirements
Proven HR generalist experience with a strong understanding of
employment law ,
performance management , and
organisational development
Demonstrated ability to
influence and coach
senior leaders to drive culture and performance
Experience in managing a wide range of
employee relations (ER)
matters
Strong capability in
headcount planning ,
talent management , and supporting the
annual HR cycles
Skilled in delivering
engagement strategies
and wellbeing initiatives
Comfortable working in a
hybrid environment
with occasional onsite requirements (Greenville)
Experience working across
US and UK HR landscapes
is highly desirable
Ability to lead and mentor more junior HR colleagues
Medical device, pharma or medical background would be useful but not essential
Role & Responsibilities People Partnering & Coaching
Provide strategic and operational HR advice to business leaders
Partner with leaders to build
functional excellence
and a culture of
growth and performance
Define and deliver targeted
people plans
aligned to business objectives
Employee Relations (ER)
Provide professional, commercial HR advice with a focus on business needs and compliance
Support the Senior HRBP with ER cases across other areas of the business
Coach and upskill managers to handle day‑to‑day people issues confidently
Guide and support the HR Officer in managing absence and lower‑complexity ER cases
Headcount & Long‑Range Planning (LRP)
Drive annual headcount forecasting in line with LRP and budgeting
Guide
strategic workforce planning
and
talent acquisition
strategies
Talent & Development
Lead the
talent cycle
and succession planning for key roles
Partner with L&D to provide tools and guidance for effective
career planning
Recruitment
Oversee recruitment for all roles at
D5 level and below
in your business area
Ensure recruitment partners meet SLA standards in collaboration with the Senior HRBP
Performance, Talent & Reward Cycle
Manage the delivery of
performance reviews ,
talent planning , and
reward cycles
Coach leaders on performance improvement and development plans
Promote a culture of
ongoing feedback
and continuous development
HR Policy
Review, update, and propose enhancements to company
HR policies
Lead the annual
policy review timetable
in line with legislation changes
Engagement & Action Planning
Lead the design, communication, and delivery of the
annual Engagement Survey
Act as point of contact for the external survey provider
Support business leaders in developing
localised action plans
Coordinate the company’s
Mental Health First Aider
network
Lead on
wellbeing initiatives
and annual activity planning

Employment Details Salary:
$95,000–$100,000 per year plus
10% bonus ,
401(k) , and
4 weeks’ holiday per year

USA – Hybrid (ideally based in
North Carolina

Travel:
