Territory Account Manager (TAM) Position on the long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales team. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment, working with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment, partnering cross-functionally, and remaining adaptable in a launch context. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in developing strategic business plans and selling to HCPs, servicing accounts, and aligning to ViiV Healthcare’s mission.
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities. Responsibilities include the following:
Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
Identify, target and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new HIV treatment approach.
Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities.
Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects.
Prepare and execute business plans tailored to each customer to help HCPs scale their treatment model.
Coordinate and partner with cross-functional team members to deliver an integrated product experience.
Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive communication.
Provide exceptional customer service, proactively anticipating and addressing HCP needs.
Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and scaling successes.
Develop external relationships with key customers and thought leaders.
Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
Embrace ambiguity in launch environment and view setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.
Escalate issues and risks when needed; speak up.
Understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree.
5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
3+ years of specialty experience.
Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel; majority of time in market.
Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
Strong planning, organization, analytical, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience selling in complex market access coverage situations.
Experience working with HCPs to procure, manage, and administer cold chain treatment products.
Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required).
Experience partnering cross-functionally within an integrated account team model.
