California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) is seeking a Junior User Experience (UX) Designer (Information Technology Associate) to join the Enterprise Solutions Development Division within the UX and Information Design Unit. In this role, you’ll contribute to designing intuitive, accessible, and user‑centered digital experiences that support millions of members and stakeholders. As a Junior UX Designer, you will support and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to review, design, and enhance user experiences across CalPERS’ digital platforms, including myCalPERS Member Self‑Service, CalPERS public website, and the CalPERS Intranet. You’ll help translate complex requirements into thoughtful design solutions, contribute to usability improvements, and play a key role in delivering innovative, user‑focused applications that improve how people interact with essential services. Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
