Overview
Operations Director – Commercial Flooring – Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
We’re partnered with a rapidly growing commercial flooring contractor that’s expanding its footprint in the DFW market—and they’re looking to bring on a strong Operations Director to help lead that growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading day-to-day field operations across multiple commercial and multifamily projects
Managing and supporting superintendents and installation crews
Partnering closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project execution
Coordinating labor, materials, and schedules across jobs
Proactively identifying and solving issues before they impact the client
Serving as a key point of contact between the field, internal teams, and customers
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in an operations or field leadership role within NEW construction flooring
Experience overseeing multiple large-scale projects ($500K+ preferred)
Background in commercial, healthcare, education, & multifamily projects
Proven ability to manage teams (superintendents/crews) and keep jobs on track
Strong communication skills—both client-facing and internal
Someone who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
Ideal candidate is already based in the DFW area
