Our registered dietitians believe that food is a great source of pleasure that promotes health and enhances well-being. Whether you have a special medical condition or just want to eat better, our dietitians will work with you, your medical team, and your family and friends, to complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment and provide counseling and interventions that meet your needs About The Career
Oversees all nutrition and diabetes related services provided for in-patients and out-patients at Montrose Memorial Hospital, as well as the day-to-day functions of the department according to regulatory agency guidelines. Assesses inpatient and outpatient nutrition requirements and nutrition and/or diabetes education needs and develops and provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Collaborates and communicates nutrition and/or diabetes interventions and goals to other care team members. Works with the food services staff to coordinate food and diet orders that meet quality standards and patient nutritional requirements. Provides the staff, physicians and community with evidence-based nutrition and diabetes information. Provides quality patient care and services. All About You
Education: BS (grandfathered in) or MS in Nutrition and Dietetics, RD Training and Experience: Three or more years of clinical experience, former clinical nutrition and program management experience, computer experience. Experience in any of the following desirable: DSMT program, cardiac rehab, oncology and outpatients Job Knowledge of: Nutrition, Diabetes, Oncology, EMR and Computers What We Offer
