Shift: 8hrs Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 14 Guaranteed Hours: 40 Requirements: Current state license to practice Physical Therapy Proof of current CPR certification Current driver's license Must have reliable transportation and insurance 2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Roles & Responsibilities: Administers the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist. Provides non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients. Documents daily, weekly, or monthly records of clients' status and submits clinical paperwork on time. Notifies the physical therapist or Clinical Manager of any equipment failures, supply issues, or changes in client status. Schedules clients and performs varied office tasks. Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities. Compliance / Notes: Must maintain confidentiality.
