This is a growing, fast‑pace Immigration Law firm in the heart of Boston seeking to hire an experienced Spanish speaking paralegal to join our USCIS department. The duties of the paralegal may include meeting with clients to complete applications for relief that will be submitted and presented before the Immigration Court and/or USCIS, reviewing and updating case lists with supervising Attorneys/Paralegals, and preparing drafts of affidavits.
Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Excellent communication and organizational skills
The ability to work efficiently under strict timelines
Excellent research and writing skills
The ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities
Work closely with clients and attorneys to prepare applications and supporting documents to be submitted to USCIS and the Immigration Court
Assist in or conduct client interviews in Spanish
Independently maintain case load, including tracking appointments, deadlines, etc.
Assist in administrative tasks, research, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.50 per hour
