Sr. Account Executive, Tax/Trade - WA

Sr. Account Executive Position responsible for developing account plans for new and existing accounts. Prospect new customers and upsell existing customers, closing full solution sales to corporate customers. Products Tax/Trade solutions. Location Pacific Northwest territory; candidate based in Washington state. Responsibilities Prospecting: Actively seek new business opportunities with both new and existing customers, building a strong pipeline and maintaining 3‑4 times coverage of sales targets monthly and quarterly. Account management: Manage a list of major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+), leading the entire sales process through account planning, deal closing, and renewal. Sales goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets. Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, legal, and other teams to tailor solutions to customer needs. Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders, understanding their challenges and demonstrating solution value. Salesforce maintenance: Regularly update Salesforce to maintain accurate records and deliver reliable sales forecasts; conduct client meetings in person or via MS Teams. Qualifications College degree preferred; minimum 5 years direct field sales experience, preferably in corporate sector, with proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. Experience selling complex, enterprise software to enterprises with $500M+ revenue targets using a consultative, value‑based approach. Proven ability to engage C‑suite with solution selling to uncover business challenges and quantify impact of inaction. Skilled at leading multi‑stakeholder, detailed sales processes and managing full‑cycle deals from prospecting to close. Self‑starter with a growth mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and driving change. Strong cross‑functional collaborator with marketing, product, and legal to achieve shared outcomes. Deep understanding of AI and its application. Adept at developing and executing account plans; contributes to sales strategy, culture, value proposition, and tools. Compensation Target total cash compensation range $189,000–$351,000 USD, varying by location.
