About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim Director of Case Management to provide both strategic and operational leadership, with a focus on driving performance improvement initiatives and bringing stability to the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing case management operations, supporting risk mitigation strategies, and fostering collaboration with other departments. This role is particularly suited to a change agent leader with a strong background in acute care case management, who is adept at cultural shifts, and is experienced in the design and implementation of leadership transitions. The Interim Director will also be involved in the development of staff, ensuring they are patient-focused, and able to adapt to the fast-paced, ever-changing needs of the acute care environment.
Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a BSN with an additional Master's degree and/or a Master's degree in a related healthcare field. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, patient-focused, and possess excellent communication skills. The role requires a leader who is open to coaching and mentoring staff, and who can quickly adapt to the demands of the role. The Interim Director will be expected to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and must be prepared to manage the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic with a commitment to transparent communication and the core value of "Doing the Right Thing."
