Director, Compensation & Benefits role | CPG sector | Midtown, Manhattan (hybrid position) Our client, a global, heritage-led organization within the CPG sector, is seeking to appoint a Director, Compensation & Benefits (Total Rewards) to lead the function across the Americas. This role offers full ownership of the Total Rewards agenda across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, within a dynamic and lean organization of approximately 200 employees in the region. This is a highly visible position at the intersection of people strategy, finance, and business performance, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on execution. The role is hybrid based in Manhattan. Responsibilities

The Director will lead and execute the full Total Rewards agenda across the region, with end-to-end ownership of compensation, benefits, and payroll. They will define and implement a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy aligned with business priorities, while ensuring programs remain competitive, scalable, and internally equitable across multiple geographies. The role includes direct oversight of compensation structures, salary reviews, bonus cycles, and benchmarking, as well as the design and management of benefits programs and payroll operations across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. This individual will work closely with HR and Finance leadership to support key decision‑making, provide data‑driven insights, and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions. In addition, the Director will play a critical role in building, improving, and scaling Total Rewards processes, systems, and vendor relationships, while strengthening the overall function in a growing and evolving environment. Requirements

10+ years of progressive experience across compensation, benefits, and payroll Proven experience owning and executing Total Rewards end-to-end, not solely one pillar Experience operating in small to mid‑sized or lean organizations, with a hands‑on approach Strong ability to balance strategy with execution and delivery Experience partnering with senior stakeholders (HR, Finance, executive leadership) Prior team management experience Exposure to consumer goods or beverage industry preferred Compensation : up to $190K in base + bonus
