Qualifications
All internal and external candidates are eligible.

Must have a valid NJ Teaching Certificate or NJ Substitute Teaching Certificate.
Must become a New Jersey resident within one year of starting the position (per P.L. 2011, c. 70).
In accordance with S-414/A-3188, school districts are required to review the last twenty years of employment history of prospective employees for allegations of child abuse or sexual misconduct. Hiring is prohibited for individuals who have served in a position with regular student contact unless a thorough review is conducted.
