Financial Aid Office Assistant
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Financial Aid Office (i.e. documents, supplies, work orders, budget and managing student workers). Assisting students and parents by answering high volume telephone calls and assisting them at the front desk. Reviewing every incoming document for accuracy and inputting into the financial aid system. Managing incoming emails and voicemails, and keeping track of the budget. Assisting the financial aid office. Assist parents and students by telephone and at the counter. Enter all incoming documents, checking emails and voicemails. Oversee undergraduate assistant and student workers. Send letters to students (award letters, revised award letters, follow up letters, post award follow up letters). High school diploma or GED 1 to 3 years of work related experience Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment. When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly range for this position is $21.00 to $22.00. This hourly rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
