Parts Counterperson

Join Team Dahl as a Parts Counterperson at Dahl Ford Truck La Crosse in La Crosse, WI. In this position you will use your customer service and organizational skills to assist technicians and guests in obtaining the correct parts for heavy‑duty vehicle repairs and needs. Previous automotive/heavy‑duty truck parts experience is preferred but not required.
This position works with Class 8 heavy‑duty trucks and trailers, and Ford commercial vehicle parts. It operates Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities
Assist guests in finding the appropriate parts for their heavy‑duty vehicle.
Create and modify purchase orders.
Work with technicians to ensure parts needed for vehicle repairs.
Use manufacturer catalogs and DMS systems to determine correct parts and pricing.
Process and close open invoices.
Maintain a high level of service and urgency for all internal departments.
Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction over the phone and on the counter.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with automotive/heavy‑duty truck parts sales (preferred).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Detail‑oriented, professional appearance, strong work ethic.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
