Work Site Location:

Duties take place mostly in an office setting located at Upward Bound target high schools throughout Mendocino and Lake Counties.

Qualifications This position requires a minimum of four years in personnel supervision and evaluation, program development and evaluation, and fiscal management, with four years of progressively responsible and applicable management or supervisory experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. A master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred, as is a valid California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential. Experience working with TRiO Upward Bound or Talent Search programs and familiarity with federal compliance standards are highly desirable.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience working with high‑school‑aged students; aptitude in management, supervision, strategic planning, project management, and program implementation; ability to adapt to changes, handle multiple tasks and competing demands; clear communication skills; and proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Aeries, student information systems, and PeopleSoft. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. This position requires successful completion of a live‑scan fingerprinting at the assigned school site and a TB test.

Salary and Benefits Starting salary is anticipated to be in the range of $6,000 to $6,250 per month. This full‑time, fixed‑term position offers medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, CalPERS retirement, tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave, and 15 paid holidays.
