About The Role
Our firm is supporting a leading organization in the renewable energy industry with the hiring of a Desktop Provisioning Support Representative. This role supports corporate employees at a primary office location in Lehi, Utah and plays a critical part in the onboarding experience for new hires. The position focuses on end‑user hardware provisioning, preparation, and logistical support to ensure employees are equipped and productive from day one.

Job Type : Contract (12 months)
Compensation : $18–23 per hour W2

Job Description The Desktop Provisioning Support Representative provides frontline IT support for internal systems, hardware, and applications. This role works closely with internal IT teams to support new hire onboarding, manage equipment lifecycle processes, and minimize disruptions to daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for employee technical support via phone, chat, email, and remote tools
Support the ticketing process for new equipment requests and returned hardware
Prepare, image, package, and ship computer equipment for new hires
Follow and document standard processes for tracking provisioning activity
Communicate clearly and professionally with a diverse employee population
Accurately document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for escalation, audit, and review purposes
Ensure adherence to organizational security standards to protect systems and data
Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with desktop or hardware support
IT provisioning experience
Intermediate knowledge of:
Troubleshooting fundamentals
Current Windows operating systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes
Comfort working in a structured, process‑driven IT environment
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+ Certification
Experience with device imaging and/or mobile device support
Intermediate knowledge of Chrome OS and macOS
Basic familiarity with Google Workspace in a corporate environment
