Construction Superintendent

Our client is seeking a Superintendent in the Indianapolis area with experience in healthcare, industrial, and/or pharmaceutical construction.
This individual will be responsible for leading field operations on complex projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule are maintained from start to finish. This is a strong opportunity to join a reputable general contractor with a steady pipeline of technically demanding projects.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Manage subcontractors, daily schedules, and field coordination
Enforce jobsite safety and maintain high-quality standards
Coordinate with project managers, owners, and design teams
Maintain and update project schedules, proactively addressing delays
Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specs, and regulatory requirements
Lead site meetings and provide clear communication across all stakeholders
Qualifications
5-10 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
Experience in one or more of the following:
Healthcare projects
(hospitals, medical facilities, renovations)
Industrial projects
(manufacturing, warehouse, distribution)
Pharmaceutical/life sciences projects
(labs, clean rooms, regulated environments)
Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and field operations
Experience managing multiple trades and complex project scopes
Ability to lead teams and maintain accountability on-site
