Job Description We are searching for the best talent for a Sales Associate to support clients in the Westchester County, NY area. This position provides clinical and customer support in hospitals, ensuring customer service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge of highest standard. Sales Associates support sales objectives, cover cases, and maintain/manage surgeon and account relationships within a geographic territory, offering and selling the breadth of portfolio, services, and solutions for assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers, while supporting product conversions with new customers; assist in attainment of established sales goals including market share objectives in prescribed territory.
Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through their clinical and product knowledge; present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring equipment availability, optimizing trays; provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance; handle customer requests, manage hospital billing, create and close purchase orders.
Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams; prepare sales reports and documents as required.
Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout assigned area; ensure product availability and promotional materials are maintained in a presentable manner.
Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; improve customer insights into DePuy Synthes value proposition and solutions; differentiate DPS products versus competition.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) plus minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience; OR Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience.
Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.
Other Requirements
Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Ability to travel, including weekend and/or overnight travel.
Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills.
Efficient, organized, self‑motivated, positive, and proactive.
Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions preferred.
