Senior Architectural Designer – Lead architect design and development of dental offices across North America. You will guide design direction, manage project documentation, mentor junior team members, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver projects efficiently and with the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural designs based on client goals, input, and feedback
Participate in programming, schematic design, and design development phases
Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to communicate architectural design and construction intent
Oversee and coordinate the work of the design team to ensure project goals, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met
Review drawings and design documents produced by junior designers, providing detailed feedback and making necessary revisions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Mentor and coach junior designers, supporting their professional development and fostering continuous improvement in design skills and performance
Collaborate with managers, production staff, marketing, and clients to support projects from concept through construction
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project goals and client expectations are met
Present design proposals and project details to clients, clearly explaining scope, costs, and objectives
Assess project feasibility by researching design requirements, technology, regulations, and market considerations
Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings
Stay current on design trends, construction practices, and emerging technologies through industry research and professional development
Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design or a related field
Professional Engineer licensure required
Minimum of 5 years of experience using Computer‑aided design (CAD) software like Revit and AutoCAD
Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as Enscape, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience with Bluebeam, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office Suite
Master understanding of building codes, inspection regulations, and construction methods
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
