
Senior Paralegal

A leading real estate and property management firm is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its in-house legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role offers broad exposure across corporate governance, real estate transactions, litigation, and employment matters.
Responsibilities
Maintain corporate records, entity filings, and minute books
Prepare written consents, resolutions, and governance documentation
Ensure compliance with corporate, LLC, and partnership requirements
Support entity structuring and ownership transfers
Assist with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, leases, and due diligence
Partner with outside counsel on litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters
Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production
Assist in drafting and revising responses to subpoenas and discovery requests
Draft and update employee agreements and HR-related documentation
Support labor law compliance audits
Assist in developing SOPs and employee acknowledgment materials
Draft, review, and redline contracts, leases, and legal correspondence
Track permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance requirements
Monitor legal and regulatory updates and provide summaries
Conduct legal research and support ad hoc projects
Manage legal calendars, deadlines, and workflows
Organize and maintain legal files and SharePoint systems
Coordinate meetings and prepare materials
Track legal spend and assist with invoice review
Support process improvement initiatives within the legal function
Qualifications
5+ years of paralegal experience, ideally within a large law firm or in-house legal department
Strong background in corporate governance (corporations, LLCs, partnerships)
Experience with California legal requirements
Litigation experience strongly preferred
Exposure to employment law is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and collaboration tools
Strong legal research capabilities
Organized with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of discretion and professionalism
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
