Shipping & Receiving Specialist
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for the secure handling, logging, storage, packaging, and shipment of materials and equipment, including U.S. Government-regulated and sensitive items. This role requires disciplined execution, strong documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, and security stakeholders. Success in this position requires operational rigor, discretion, and a demonstrated ability to maintain compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, log, and track inbound and outbound materials in accordance with internal controls and compliance requirements Handle U.S. Government-regulated and sensitive equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations Maintain accurate chain-of-custody records, inventory logs, and audit documentation Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and security teams to support the movement of sensitive materials Prepare packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments involving regulated equipment Ensure proper storage, access control, and segregation of sensitive materials and equipment Support internal and external audits related to inventory, compliance, and logistics Identify process gaps and recommend continuous improvement opportunities within shipping and receiving operations Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or controlled equipment or materials in a corporate or industrial environment Strong attention to detail with a proven record of accurate documentation and record-keeping Experience with inventory management systems, logs, and tracking tools Ability to follow established procedures and controls with consistency Effective communication skills to coordinate across production, engineering, and operations teams High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability Preferred Skills and Experience

Compensation and Benefits: Pay range: $25.00 - 36.00/hour Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
