Job Description The Bloomington ISD Federal Programs/Special Education Director will manage compliance, budgeting, and implementation of federal grants, including but not limited to Title I-IV, ESSA, and ESSER, in accordance with EDGAR. Responsibilities include managing budgets and providing leadership in the development and implementation of instructional programs that improve student achievement.
Special knowledge and skills required: deep knowledge of the Texas Legal Framework for Special Education; proficiency with TEA systems (TEAL, eGrants, TSDS/PEIMS); ability to interpret and implement complex federal and state policies; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to manage budgets and meet strict state and federal deadlines.
