Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting full-cycle human resources operations, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for various roles.

Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management support, and maintaining positive workplace culture.

Administer HR programs such as benefits enrollment, leave of absence tracking, payroll support, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure smooth integration of new employees into the organization.

Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and prepare reports on key HR metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, diversity, etc.).

Support training and development initiatives, including coordination of workshops and employee development programs.

Assist with policy development, updates, and communication to staff in both English and Spanish.

Provide bilingual support to employees and candidates, translating documents and facilitating clear communication as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

4–5 years of progressive HR experience (recruiting, employee relations, or generalist experience preferred).

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish – must be able to read, write, and speak both languages fluently.

Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.).

High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
