Electrical BIM/CADD Designer
to join our team in
Boise, ID . This role requires the candidate to plan, configure, implement, and support Digital Delivery, including BIM (Building Information Modeling), CIM (Civil Information Modeling), Computer Aided Design (CAD) needs on projects.
As a Digital Delivery Lead/Electrical BIM/CADD Designer, you will play a key role in advancing Jacobs’ digital capabilities across vertical and facilities focused programs. You will support project teams by defining, standardizing, and implementing BIM/CIM and information management workflows that improve design quality, coordination, and downstream data usability. Working under the mentorship of the Senior Digital Delivery Leads and Regional Team Leads, you will align closely with discipline leads, project managers, and global digital delivery teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and forward looking BIM execution.
Responsibilities
Oversee the application of market technologies (CAD/CIM/BIM/Digital Delivery) and ensure approach adheres to internal and client specific requirements.
Create and implement CAD/CIM/BIM/Advanced Modeling Execution Plans.
Setup and review models for compliance with the execution plans and project standards.
Identify, evaluate, and expand the efficiency of software and workflow using automation/API tools.
Maintain integrated BIM/CIM, run clash detection reports, run model standards and health audit reports, maintain issues log, and resolve issues.
Support troubleshooting software issues, and ongoing learning of new software tools.
Required qualifications
At least 3 years of professional BIM/CIM experience
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
Proficiency with common data environments, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma)
Proficiency with Navisworks or Revizto, including the ability to set up clash reports, rules, and selection sets
Proficiency with creating client audit reports and other deliverables
Understand project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication preferred
Proficiency with editing software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under constant deadlines
Ability to receive guidance and direction from peers
Will not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status (examples: H-1B, L-1B, or other temporary visa status) to work for Jacobs in the U.S.
Preferred qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or at least 5 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree)
Digital Delivery (CAD/CIM/BIM) experience leveraging and managing technology in facility design and construction
Familiarity with US Federal CAD/BIM standards
Ability to provide Revit and other design software training
Ability to develop technical information and presentation material for response to RFIs (Request for Information)
Ability to research and stay current on CAD/CIM/BIM related software and technologies
Ability to participate in user group meetings for BIM and CAD related software

Salary The base salary range for this position is $54,100.00 to $84,550.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
