Assistant Designer - Girls

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for an Assistant Designer for Girls apparel to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the full design lifecycle from concept through production.
Build and update tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Create precise flat sketches and provide support on graphics/print development when necessary.
Maintain accurate data entry and track all product revisions.
Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve development challenges.
Manage timelines effectively while responding to feedback with a solutions-focused approach.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Apparel Design (or equivalent experience).
1–2 years of experience in design and/or product development; internships welcomed.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop preferred.
Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
