What You’ll Do
Real Estate & Title Expertise
Review and analyze ALTA surveys, title commitments, mineral ownership reports, and related due diligence materials.
Identify and resolve ownership issues, land‑use restrictions, legal description discrepancies, and title requirements impacting financing and closings.
Transactional Drafting & Documentation
Draft and coordinate real estate documents for legal review, including land leases, easements, option and assignment agreements, SNDAs, memoranda, estoppels, and closing checklists.
Support complex real estate transactions across development, acquisition, and financing stages.
Portfolio & Data Management
Organize and maintain real estate records across SharePoint and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness.
Monitor critical milestones, deadlines, and deliverables tied to land acquisition and financing activities.
Deal Execution & External Coordination
Support planning and execution of project acquisitions, sales, and financings.
Coordinate with outside counsel, surveyors, title companies, and other third‑party providers—including scopes of work, bids, and deliverables.
Oversee compliance tasks including landowner payments, site control documentation, and due‑diligence tracking.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with Developers, Project Managers, Construction, and Finance teams.
Help support and elevate a growing Real Estate team through strong organization, ownership, and process discipline.
Candidate Profile
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
5–7 years of real estate paralegal experience, focused on large‑scale land or real estate transactions.
Significant hands‑on experience with title, surveys, undeveloped land, and real estate development projects.
Strong understanding of transactional real estate, land use, and title insurance processes.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using tools such as Google Earth and land management databases.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, BESS) or digital infrastructure projects.
Project finance closing experience.
Texas Notary Public certification.
Experience supporting cross‑functional teams during late‑stage development and financing.
