Account Manager – Affiliate Marketing
Salary Range: $60,000‑$70,000

Location: Remote (eligible residents in Canada – Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal; or in the U.S. – Florida, Colorado, Maryland, or Virginia)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Affiliate Account Manager who thrives on building relationships and driving results. If you have experience managing affiliate programs in the B2B or B2C space and a track record of identifying the right partners for the right opportunities, we would love to talk.

Day‑to‑day tasks include recruiting and managing affiliate partners, negotiating placements, monitoring program performance, and hunting new partnership opportunities that move the revenue needle. You will work directly with clients and publishers to sharpen campaign performance and grow the partner ecosystem around each program you own. What Are Your Major Objectives?
In a key client‑facing position within our Performance Marketing Team, the Affiliate Account Manager will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and profitable sales growth through team leadership, strategic thinking, and process execution for performance marketing programs. This includes delivering on AIM and industry best practices around affiliate recruitment, activation, optimization, compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Recruit, activate, and manage affiliate partners across a range of partner types, including content publishers, influencers, media partners, loyalty sites, and emerging partnership categories.

Build relationships with affiliate partners, negotiating placements, campaigns, and promotional opportunities that drive meaningful growth.

Monitor program performance, analyze the metrics that matter, spot opportunities to optimize, and propose strategies that improve revenue, partner activation, and overall program health.

Work directly with clients to understand their goals, share clear performance insights, and ensure affiliate strategies align with broader marketing objectives.

Identify new partnership opportunities that expand reach, strengthen the ecosystem, and bring incremental revenue.

Manage the day‑to‑day operations of affiliate program management, including partner communications, campaign launches, partner approvals, and coordination across affiliate network platforms.

Collaborate with the broader AIM team to develop new ideas, test creative partnership approaches, and advance opportunities that keep client programs moving forward.

Key Skills and Experience

2+ years of hands‑on affiliate marketing management experience

Experience managing programs within at least one major affiliate platform (Awin, CJ, Impact.com, Partnerize, or Rakuten)

Strong partner recruitment and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify and activate new affiliates that drive program growth

Experience with multiple affiliate networks and third‑party tracking platforms is a plus

Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and managing priorities independently while staying responsive to clients and team members

Willingness to travel periodically to attend client meetings and represent AIM at industry conferences and events

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides capabilities are a plus

Technical familiarity with HTML or affiliate tracking implementation is a plus

Broader digital marketing experience across channels such as paid media, content marketing, or influencer partnerships is a plus

Comfort using AI tools or LLMs to support research, partner discovery, or workflow efficiency
