About the Role A leading commercial general contractor specializing in complex projects across life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and high-end interiors is seeking an experienced
Superintendent
to lead field operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technically demanding environments and has strong experience managing MEP-intensive projects. You’ll be responsible for driving project execution on-site—ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and seamless coordination across all trades and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout Manage project schedules, sequencing, and daily field operations Coordinate complex
MEP systems
and ensure successful integration Oversee subcontractors, manpower planning, and material logistics Maintain jobsite safety, including daily meetings and compliance standards Ensure quality control (QA/QC) and adherence to plans, specs, and codes Manage RFIs, submittals, inspections, and project documentation Drive progress toward milestones, including punch list and closeout Maintain accurate daily reports and as-built documentation Partner closely with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers
What You Bring 5–8+ years of construction experience, including 4+ years as a Superintendent Strong background with a commercial general contractor Proven expertise in
MEP coordination
within complex builds Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and inspections Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR (or ability to obtain quickly) Life sciences or technical project experience is a plus
Work Environment This is a
primarily field-based role
(90%+ on-site), requiring hands-on leadership and real-time coordination. Flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed.
