Job Title Leasing Consultant
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform property leasing and administration activities.
Attend the property on a daily basis for on‑site duties.
Show and lease units, greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and finalize lease agreements.
Generate new leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close leases.
Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
Assist with lease audits, walk‑throughs, and turnover processes.
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and meet/exceed leasing goals.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
Support resident retention programs such as functions, promotions, and newsletters.
Maintain office, common areas, and model unit upkeep.
Implement marketing outreach activities and annual marketing plans.
Conduct market surveys and analysis to generate ideas and strategies.
Maintain product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions.
Provide excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround.
Project a favorable community image to achieve property objectives.
Ensure policy compliance and work with the supervisor on enforcement.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regular movement between work sites, including walking, ascending/descending ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, lift or move objects up to 25 lbs, operate machinery, vehicles, or golf carts, and work in various environmental conditions (outdoor, low/high temperatures, uneven terrain).
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, nights, and emergencies.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance; 401(k) with employer matching; commission and performance bonuses (where applicable); paid sick days and company holidays.
