
Marketing Coordinator (1-3 years)

Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator at Coffman focuses on tracking RFP timelines, participating in prime/sub proposals, and representing the department both internally and externally. This role involves collaborating with experienced marketing and technical staff to get proposal tasks done in a deadline‑driven atmosphere, and serves to support the office’s business development strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and oversee subconsultant proposal submittals, support prime proposals.
Develop proposal outlines; coordinate and prepare resumes, project descriptions, and past experience write-ups in collaboration with project managers and technical staff.
Actively manage and enter data into the CRM and company info database, including company profiles, resumes, project descriptions, and updates from proposals and other sources, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
Participate in go
o-go discussions with others.
Enter information for pursuit debriefs as directed by others.
Represent Coffman to clients and the community by attending associations/organizations events, focusing on professional development and building a network of counterparts in the market.
Maintain a current understanding of the economy and markets, contributing and supporting as directed by others.
Maintain up-to-date understanding of AEC marketing/BD best practices and terminology, focusing on professional development and growth.
Join and engage with appropriate AEC industry organizations, including Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of professional AEC marketing experience preferred (minimum of 1 year transferable experience)
Degree in related field preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and desktop publishing software.
Basic understanding of AEC industry terminology and procedures and basic marketing principles.
Able to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
Able to work independently, as a team member, and as a team leader.
Strong organizational ability, detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
Must work well under pressure.
Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
