
Junior Healthcare Interior Designer

North South Consulting Group, LLC (NSCG), a Female Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a qualified Junior Healthcare Interior Designer to support a federal healthcare Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOT&A) opportunity for a VA clinic project in Long Beach, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Junior Healthcare Interior Designer will support design execution and project delivery for healthcare facility activation efforts related to interior design, which may include Furniture Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) coordination, space planning, procurement, and installation sequencing under the direct supervision of the Senior Healthcare Interior Designer.
Key Responsibilities
Support healthcare interior design, FF&E planning, and space planning
Assist with generating design ideas and participating in design charrettes
Produce graphics and presentations as required
Generate renderings and layouts in different technologies
Implement sustainability best practices on projects
Participate in project meetings
Assist with the creation of project binders and material boards
Manage the Resource Library
Enjoy working in a team environment
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Interior Design or related field; or 1-3 years of relevant experience; or new graduates if supported by internships or practical experience in medical or institutional environments
Must possess basic knowledge of production software.
Must possess solid oral and written communications skills.
Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others.
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program.
Eligible to take the NCIDQ exam
Work Location
Onsite in Long Beach, CA.
Compensation Compensation is contingent upon contract award and final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, and role alignment.
