Social Media Intern (40 hrs/week)
We’re looking for a creative and driven intern to join our team this summer, helping to grow and engage our passionate audience on Decider’s social platforms.
What You’ll Do
Assist Decider’s Social Media Director in optimizing and executing the site’s social media strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Gather and edit digital assets (marquee images, screencaps, GIFs, memes) for Decider’s social platforms and website under the direction of our Digital Editorial Designer and Social Media Director.
Pitch and execute innovative content ideas for all of Decider’s social platforms with a focus on Reels and TikTok.
Edit video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to create engaging, fun, and shareable posts.
Help track, report, and monitor social platform performance, using data to optimize content and strategy for maximum engagement.
Gain hands‑on experience in content creation, video editing, and social media strategy with a brand that’s redefining entertainment and streaming.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with established and emerging social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
Love for all things streaming and an interesting passion for pop culture.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to Decider’s fun and engaging brand voice.
Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying on top of deadlines.
A willingness to collaborate and be a team player who’s eager to learn and contribute.
Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA or MA, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
Internship schedule: June 1 2026 – August 7 2026. Participants are expected to work full‑time hours and adhere to our on‑site work schedule.
Pay Range: $20/Hr.
