Job Title
Principal Advisor To Senior Leadership On Equal Employment Opportunity Initiatives Duties
You will serve as the principal advisor to senior leadership on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) initiatives. You will provide direct supervision and oversight to a team of four subordinate civilian and military personnel, reporting to the Chief of Staff. You will set program priorities and develop command policies to ensure compliance with Federal, Department of War, and Department of Navy laws and regulations. You will represent the Commander on councils and working groups, engaging with internal and external partners like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to achieve program goals. You will spearhead the completion and submission of key program requirements. You will manage the complaint process by tracking cases, facilitating timely adjudication, and promoting alternative dispute resolution methods. You will synchronize and validate the processes for sensitive EEO related investigations to ensure consistent approaches. You will guide subordinates in performing complex research and analysis to present comprehensive assessments to senior officials. You will develop strategic plans for your team, adapting to dynamic changes in priorities to meet program goals and objectives. You will define technical quality standards for your team's work and oversee the performance of collateral duty assistants worldwide. You will provide oversight of the reasonable accommodation program and the affirmative employment program.
