As our Director of Human Resources, you will be fully and solely responsible for all human resources functions for the hotel. This is a standalone role there is no HR staff or payroll support. You will independently manage payroll processing, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, benefits, and training, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency at all times. What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the single point of responsibility for all HR functions for the property Independently process hotel payroll in its entirety, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Maintain payroll records, wage audits, deductions, garnishments, and accuracy of hours worked Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and HRIS data Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws Manage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and corrective actions Maintain personnel files, documentation, and confidentiality standards Train leaders on HR best practices and compliance requirements Support hotel leadership with guidance while remaining hands-on and detail-focused Why You'll Love It Here

What Makes You You Proven experience processing payroll independently (required) Previous experience in hotel or hospitality Human Resources strongly preferred Comfortable and confident operating as a one-person HR department Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll practices, and HR compliance Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Able to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working without daily assistance Approachable, fair, and confident in decision-making
