Description
Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 69‑unit apartment community in Bedford, MA, located on four acres adjacent to the VA’s Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Medical Center. The community provides permanent, supportive housing for homeless Veterans and those at imminent risk of homelessness.
Responsibilities
Oversee all property operations and overall direction of all site office and maintenance staff
Ensure compliance with LIHTC and Project‑Based Section 8 programs
Maintain optimal occupancy, staffing, and resident relations
Prepare budgets and monitor compliance within budget constraints
Complete and oversee processing of all resident certification and recertification forms
Requirements
Knowledgeable of affordable housing programs, federally‑assisted and all state and local housing regulations
Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing, and resident‑relations skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self‑motivated and proactive
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years related property‑management and supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with Onesite software a plus
LIHTC and Project‑Based Section 8 recertification experience required
Compensation and Benefits Compensation ranges from $68,000 to $76,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, employee assistance programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
