Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy legal team with all aspects of real estate transactions. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who can independently manage the closing process from start to finish while providing excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage real estate documents including contracts, leases, purchase agreements, deeds, and title affidavits
Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of real estate closings
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions
Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates throughout the closing process
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
5+ years of experience handling real estate closings preferred
Strong knowledge of real estate documents and closing procedures
Licensed title agent preferred, or willingness to obtain licensure within one year
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor and ability to interact with clients and stakeholders
Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and administrative procedures is a plus
Education & Experience
Paralegal certification, Legal Assistant certification, or related degree preferred (not required)
Additional real estate‑related experience considered a plus
Additional Requirements
Must have reliable transportation for occasional local travel
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
Strong visual attention to detail (including close and color vision)
