Operations Director of Healthy Living & Member Experience

Directly supervises Membership and Wellness teams; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, mission and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This position serves as a member of the Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership over the Membership and Wellness Departments focused on the member experience and healthy living programs. They will also be advancing the YMCA’s mission through designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of programs and processes that enhance the member and wellness experience.
The Operations Director is someone who shows promise to be an Executive Director/CEO. They will receive coaching and engage in financial development, board development and fundraising.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or a related field equivalent.
YMCA multi-Team Leader certification preferred.
Three or more years of experience with program leadership, membership teams, budget management and project management.
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Current license to drive and record that meets YMCA standards.
Ability to work with technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite social media online database software.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
