HVAC Sheet Metal Estimator

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Project Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation projects. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and complete HVAC sheet metal estimates for fabrication and installation projects Perform quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, equipment, and accessories Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents Determine project scope of work and required estimate components Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates Prepare and manage change orders based on revised mechanical/shop drawings Maintain organized files of all working documents, including pricing from suppliers and cost data Collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors Qualifications: Minimum 2-5 years of sheet metal estimating experience preferred Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication Proven ability to prepare accurate and complete estimates Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong negotiation and leadership abilities Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
