A fast‑growing U.S.-based sustainable manufacturing company is seeking a Business Development / Sales Manager to help expand its commercial footprint across Food & Beverage, CPG, and distribution markets .
This organization is transforming how plastic products-such as reusable pallets, containers, and industrial packaging ‑are made by integrating recycling, automation, and advanced manufacturing into a closed‑loop, cost‑competitive model.
With rising demand across food and beverage supply chains for durable, recyclable, and sustainable plastic solutions , this role will partner closely with customers to modernize their logistics and packaging operations.
This position is based in Houston and will work closely with manufacturing, operations, and leadership teams on‑site.
About the Opportunity
The Role
As a Business Development / Sales Rep you will owner the full commercial cycle-from identifying new opportunities to closing long‑term supply relationships. You'll play a key role in helping major food and beverage companies transition toward reusable and sustainable plastic solutions (e.g., pallets, crates, and industrial products).
This is an ideal role for someone currently (or previously) selling into food production, beverage bottling, distribution, or packaging‑adjacent markets who wants to move into sustainability‑driven manufacturing .

Full‑time
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow relationships with Food & Beverage, CPG, and distribution customers
Identify opportunities to replace legacy materials with reusable plastic pallets and industrial products
Manage the full sales process: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, pricing, and close
Work closely with internal operations and manufacturing teams to align customer needs with production capabilities
Educate customers on sustainability, circular plastics, and cost efficiencies
Build long‑term partnerships and repeat business
Track pipeline activity and revenue forecasting
Ideal Background
We are looking for candidates with:
3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
Experience selling into Food, Beverage, CPG, or distribution environments
Familiarity with logistics, packaging, pallets, containers, or industrial products is a strong plus
Comfortable selling value‑based solutions , not just price
Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environment
