Plumbing Designer
Our client in Smyrna is looking for a Plumbing Designer to join their team. Required: Associates degree or technical drafting certification 7+ years' experience as a plumbing designer working on commercial projects Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices Proficiency using AutoCAD Proficiency using Revit Preferred: BIM Coordination experience Job Responsibilities: Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties. Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing. Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems. Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment.
