Lead Plumbing Designer
Immediate opening for a Lead Plumbing Designer in metro Atlanta. Qualified candidates shall be self-motivated and possess a high level of technical skill who can work in an A/E office environment with cross coordination between all internal disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior Design). Responsibilities: Responsible for the design and drafting of complete plumbing systems and fire protection (schematic) plans for client review and permitting. Design and size water piping, natural gas systems, sanitary waste, vent and storm water piping and prepare isometrics of systems. Coordinate with in-house engineers and architects and outside civil consultants. Perform preliminary site walk throughs to verify existing conditions. Construction administration duties such as responding to RFI's. Required: 10 plus years of Plumbing Design experience Experienced in the design and drafting of complete plumbing and schematic-type fire protection systems for hotels, schools and municipal buildings. AutoCAD proficiency Excellent communication skills with architects, engineers, and owners Preferred: Revit, ComCHeck & bluebeam CPD Pay: $40-$53/hr. Location: Norcross, GA Duration: Temp-to-hire (Direct hire is possible as well)
