Overview
The Senior Portfolio Lead will own and drive a portfolio of POS and retail technology initiatives, ensuring predictable delivery and alignment to business outcomes. This role partners closely with IT and business stakeholders to manage roadmaps, dependencies, and execution across retail store systems.
Must Have Qualifications
10+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
Experience overseeing portfolios that support retail store systems, including how platforms integrate across stores, regions, and vendors
Experience with Point?of?Sale (POS) and payment systems, including transaction flows, compliance considerations, and vendor dependencies
Understanding of large?scale retail technology ecosystems and integrations
People leadership experience
Nice to Haves
Experience with fuel systems, forecourt technologies, or convenience retail environments
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification
Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or related field
Masters degree preferred
What You Will Do
Own portfolio governance, roadmap alignment, and delivery execution for POS and retail systems initiatives
Oversee cross?functional delivery across POS, payments, store systems, and supporting integrations
Serve as the primary escalation point for technical risks, issues, and interdependencies
Partner with IT and business leaders on prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning
Ensure initiatives align with retail strategy, KPIs, and measurable business value
Drive executive?level reporting on portfolio health, delivery status, financials, and risk
Continuously improve portfolio governance, delivery processes, and execution standards

Consistent, predictable delivery across store systems and payment programs
Clear alignment between retail strategy and technology execution

Compensation
$110-140k per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
