
Product Director - Data Products, Source-to-Pay Transformation

Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets for enterprise data products, with primary focus on Source-to-Pay transformation and procurement analytics.
- Leads Source-to-Pay data transformation by developing and continuously improving reusable data products that power sourcing, procurement, and supplier management analytics across the vendor management lifecycle.
- Partners closely with GSS, Sourcing Tech, and FP&A to align data solutions with strategic priorities and deliver measurable value (e.g., supplier performance, spend optimization, procurement efficiency).
- Leads the product life cycle through discovery, planning, execution, and ongoing evolution by defining requirements, managing risks, and ensuring reliability/reusability of data products and pipelines.
- Orchestrates construction of high‑quality data products by collaborating with data producers, owners, engineers, and consumers to source/curate data and establish pipelines supporting reporting, BI, and AI/ML.
- Creates and publishes product roadmaps so procurement stakeholders can reliably discover and consume governed data in catalogs locally and across the enterprise.
- Champions firmwide standards for documentation, metadata, vocabularies, and interoperability to improve discoverability and consistency of data products.
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives; measures outcomes vs. cost and drives adoption.
- Governs quality and reliability end‑to‑end (e.g., SLAs, testing, release/change management, issue resolution) to maintain data integrity, security, and compliant use.
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices (discovery, market research, prototyping, adoption strategies, delivery) to raise product execution maturity.
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities to differentiate data products and accelerate innovation.
Required qualification, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) delivering products, projects, or technology applications, including enterprise‑scale data initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics; experience delivering enterprise‑grade data products for reporting/BI/AI‑ML is strongly desired.
- Proven ability to influence adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions (Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk & Controls).
- Track record partnering with data engineers to design, build, and operate robust data pipelines and platforms, including operational governance (quality, testing, SLAs, and issue management).
- Executive‑level communication and influence; ability to set vision, prioritize investment, and drive cross‑functional adoption and value realization.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills
- Source‑to‑Pay / procurement / vendor management domain knowledge and ability to translate finance and procurement needs into scalable data product strategies.
- Recognized thought leader within a related field (data product management, data governance, analytics enablement, or procurement analytics).
