Managing Director / Partner – Accounting & Finance Contract & Temporary Staffing
Madison Davis is launching a brand-new Accounting & Finance contract and temporary staffing division, and we’re looking for a senior-level builder to lead it from day one.
This is a true zero-to-one opportunity for an elite hunter who wants to create something underneath them — not inherit a book, not manage someone else’s leftovers. You’ll own the vision, the client strategy, and the revenue build-out for A&F temp, with the autonomy to shape how the practice is built, scaled, and positioned in the market.

What You’ll Own
- Build Madison Davis’ Accounting & Finance contract and temporary staffing division from the ground up.
- Drive all business development efforts — opening new client relationships and expanding them into long-term, high-margin partnerships.
Establish Madison Davis as a go-to partner for A&F contract talent, supporting roles such as:
- Staff and Senior Accountants
- Accounting Managers and Controllers (interim / project-based)
- Financial Analysts and FP&A professionals
- SEC Reporting, SOX, Internal Audit, and Technical Accounting consultants
- Interim finance leadership support
- Create and execute go-to-market strategy, pricing, and client targeting for the division.
- Partner with recruiting leadership to build delivery underneath you as the business scales.
- Identify opportunities to expand into new markets, industries, and client segments.
- Own the financial health of the division, including margins, billing discipline, and account growth.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to finance leaders, not just a transactional vendor.
What You Bring
- A proven track record as a hunter in Accounting & Finance contract or temporary staffing.
- Experience building a book of business from scratch or materially scaling an early-stage desk.
- Strong understanding of A&F contract hiring, pricing models, and margin management.
- The ability to open doors with CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leadership.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in autonomy, accountability, and ownership.
- Motivation to build something that grows beyond you — a real platform, not just personal production.
