In this role, you will serve as the subject‑matter expert (SME) in designing sophisticated customer solutions. You will collaborate closely with customers to enable large‑scale implementations and accelerate adoption of advanced AWS services. You will partner with field Solution Architects to provide guidance on customer engagements, while creating whitepapers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations that empower customers to fully utilize AWS capabilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our account teams and customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Deploy storage and data strategies with the technical depth and business experience required.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class go‑to‑market concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader solutions architect population, helping them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., storage, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, data protection).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre‑sales, or consulting.
• Experience working with enterprise‑scale storage systems.
• Experience with block, object, and file storage technologies.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
