Amazon has made significant investments in developing solutions that maximize the value of your storage infrastructure. We\'re seeking a Solutions Architect for our Storage team who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing sophisticated customer solutions. In this role, you\'ll collaborate closely with customers to enable large-scale implementations and accelerate adoption of advanced AWS services. You\'ll partner with field Solution Architects to provide guidance on customer engagements, while creating white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations that empower customers to fully utilize AWS capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best-in-class Go to Market concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. storage, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, data protection) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud architecture
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
• Experience working with enterprise scale storage systems
• Experience with Block, Object, and File Storage Technologies
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
