
Private Equity Associate, Infrastructure (Midstream)

A leading global investment platform is seeking an Associate to join its Infrastructure team, with a focus on midstream energy investments. The role offers exposure to large-scale, complex transactions across North American energy infrastructure, working within a highly active and well-capitalized platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities across midstream energy (pipelines, storage, processing, LNG, and related infrastructure)
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation, returns analysis, and scenario testing
- Support all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors (bankers, consultants, legal) throughout transactions
- Conduct industry research and develop investment theses on energy and infrastructure sub-sectors
- Assist with investment committee materials and ongoing portfolio monitoring
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or infrastructure investing
- Prior exposure to energy and/or infrastructure, ideally with midstream experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
