Overview
Camp Towanda is seeking a Gymnastics Director for Summer 2026. The Gymnastics Director teaches daily instruction to campers, boys and girls, ages 7-17, in a state of the art 4500 indoor-outdoor Gymnastics Pavilion. The role also includes overseeing 3-4 other coaches, coaching the gymnastics team and gymnasts who participate in our advanced Master Clinics. Our campers have a wide range of abilities from beginner to advanced. Responsibilities include training campers, creating and executing lesson plans, and coordinating with the Program Director and Athletic Director.
Responsibilities
- Teach daily instruction to campers aged 7-17 in a 4500 indoor-outdoor Gymnastics Pavilion.
- Oversee 3-4 other coaches, coach the gymnastics team, and mentor gymnasts participating in advanced Master Clinics.
- Train campers, create and execute lesson plans, and coordinate with the Program Director and Athletic Director.
Qualifications
- Available mid-June through mid-August.
- Candidates are required to complete at least one year of college.
- High School or College-level gymnastics experience.
- Competition or coaching experience of Level 6 or higher.
- Qualified references.
- Great with children.
- Strong work ethic.
