We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Architect to join the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) team.

This role is responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with CoE governance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform innovation, enforce standards, and deliver seamless integrations and automation across business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows in alignment with CoE standards.
  • Design and build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware, ensuring reusable and scalable patterns.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and CoE leads to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing Salesforce assets to improve performance, security, and scalability.
  • Implement and manage automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, GitHub, and DevOps best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with CoE governance on data integrity, security models, and platform policies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve platform issues, risks, and bottlenecks.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and evolving CoE standards to recommend improvements.
  • Document technical designs, decisions, and configurations per CoE knowledge management practices.
  • Support release management, change control, and environment strategy as directed by the CoE.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer or platform engineer in enterprise or CoE settings.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative features.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and middleware tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling aligned to CoE DevOps frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governance policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Required).
  • Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications (Preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Utilities Cloud (Required).
  • Experience with enterprise middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and CoE-driven delivery models.
  • Exposure to DevOps automation and release management in complex Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with data migration and ETL tools used in large-scale Salesforce projects.
Certifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (Required)
  • Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications (Preferred)
